How long does installation take?
Most sites are operational within 24 hours. Our team drives to your site, mounts the camera, connects power and LTE, and verifies the live feed before we leave. For large multi-camera sites, allow 4–8 hours on site.
Do the cameras work without WiFi?
Yes. Our cameras use 4G LTE cellular (Rogers, Telus, or Bell). There is no dependency on site WiFi, your company network, or any IT infrastructure. The camera operates independently.
How much does it cost?
Sitelapse starts at $250/mo per camera. Installation is included. There are no setup fees and no long-term contracts — billing is month-to-month. The Pro plan at $350/mo adds AI progress reports, a client sharing portal, and 1-year footage retention.
Do the cameras work in Canadian winters?
Yes. Our cameras are rated for -40°C and have heated enclosures. They operate year-round in all Canadian weather conditions — freezing rain, heavy snow, extreme cold.
How do I share footage with clients or owners?
You generate a read-only share link from your dashboard and send it to whoever needs access. They open it in any browser — no app download, no account required. You can revoke the link at any time.
How long is footage stored?
6 months on the Basic plan, 1 year on Pro, and up to 2 years on Enterprise. If you need footage retained for legal or contractual reasons beyond your plan's standard window, contact us to arrange an extended retention hold.
What happens to footage when the project ends?
Your footage remains accessible for the remainder of your retention window after you cancel. You can download the full timelapse video before closing the account. After the retention window expires, footage is deleted from our servers.
Can I have multiple cameras on one site?
Yes. Multi-camera sites are billed per camera per month. All cameras on a site appear in the same dashboard view. We'll recommend camera count and positioning based on your site layout during the intake call.
Do you serve sites outside Ontario?
We install cameras on any Canadian site with LTE coverage. We've covered sites in Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, and Quebec. Remote sites with no LTE coverage may require alternative connectivity — contact us to discuss.
Is the footage secure?
Yes. All footage is encrypted in transit and at rest. Your camera feed is accessible only to users you explicitly share it with. We don't sell or share footage with any third parties.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. We bill month-to-month. There are no long-term contracts and no cancellation fees. Cancel before the next billing date and you owe nothing further.
What if my site has power but no WiFi?
Perfect — power is all you need. The camera connects entirely over LTE. We handle the SIM card and data plan as part of the monthly fee.
