How it works in British Columbia

Installed locally, run by us

  1. 01

    We plan it with you

A call, your site plan or a few photos. We pick the camera positions and check LTE coverage at the address.

  2. 02

    A local crew installs

An installer we work with in British Columbia puts up the pole and the cameras, one to three per pole.

  3. 03

    We run it from there

We set up the cameras remotely, watch them every day, and send the crew back to take everything down when the job is done.

One-time setup fee

$750 per pole, paid once. It covers putting the pole and cameras up and taking them down at the end of the job. One pole carries up to 3 cameras. The monthly plans are the same price as everywhere else.

FAQ

Common questions

How quickly can you install a construction camera in British Columbia?
Usually within two weeks of the order. A local installer we work with puts up the pole and cameras, and we set up and monitor everything remotely. We book the crew closest to your site, from the Lower Mainland to the North.
Does a British Columbia site need power or internet for the camera?
No. On a site with no hydro connection yet we install a solar power kit, $150/month per camera on top of your plan, and the camera has its own LTE connection, so no site WiFi is needed. That is the normal case on a British Columbia job before servicing goes in.
What does a construction camera cost in British Columbia?
$350, $450 or $550 CAD per camera per month depending on the plan, with no contract, plus a one-time setup fee of $750 per pole that covers installation and removal. One pole carries up to 3 cameras.
Is there cellular coverage at my British Columbia site?
Every camera uses its own LTE connection. Before we book the install we check coverage at your exact address, and on a site with a weak signal we fit an external antenna or tell you plainly if the site cannot be covered.
Do the cameras work through the winter?
Yes. The cameras are built for Canadian winters, and we're alerted automatically if one stops sending photos. On a solar site the shortest winter days give the least charge, so we size the solar kit for the site.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Plans are month to month. The $750 setup fee per pole is paid once, at the start, and covers taking the pole down at the end too.
